My mom surprised us with a wonderful gift of 25 Christmas books to read with Lauren. She put so much work into collecting different Christmas books, finding a basket for them, Santa-fying it and making numbered straps for each of the books. Every day for the next few weeks we will have a new Christmas book to enjoy and explore. I'm excited because it is a nice mix of classics that I know and new books for me, I mean us, to discover. Now I just have to convince Lauren that books aren't for eating.
